A new iphone app aims to help those looking to purchase a Kombi bus or campervan get the best deal.

VW Kombi enthusiast Richard Copping shares his expertise on all campers, vans and buses manufactured between 1950 and 1990, and points out the high points and the pitfalls or buying such models.

Released by Veloce Publishing, publisher of "The Essential Buyer's Guide series, the app includes 18 sections, ranging from cost considerations to common problems, along with three videos – model range, 15 minute evaluation, and paint problems – each featuring an informative voice-over by the author.
